Basketball with a Shoe?

Took my kids the park one afternoon and saw this father and son playing basketball. I noticed on one of the son's shots the ball got stuck at the bottom of the net (new courts, tight nets). As his father took off his shoe I knew what he was going to try and do so I tried to get a shot of him throwing his shoe at the ball.
